Buffalo Wild Wings is decking the halls this season with its first-ever holiday campaign, “Hank the Halls,” and an exclusive Blind Box inspired by the ad, available exclusively to Buffalo Wild Wings Rewards members.
The campaign kicks off with an animated spot that brings Hank – the brand’s iconic buffalo with wings – into the holiday spotlight in a stop-motion short. Styled like a 1950s Christmas special, the story opens on Christmas Eve inside a Buffalo Wild Wings, where Hank and Santa share a Pick 6 meal for two. When Santa’s reindeer get into a tussle over a chicken wing and can’t fly the sleigh, Hank steps in to save Christmas – turning this into a cheeky, grown-up twist on the classic holiday special, packed with humor, heart, and unmistakable B-Dubs energy.
To bring the creative to life for fans, Buffalo Wild Wings is introducing a limited-edition Hank the Halls Blind Box ($20),available December 10 exclusively to new and existing Buffalo Wild Wings Rewards members. Each blind box features a felt ornament that brings the campaign to life – starting with the star of the show: the chicken wing ornament. Fans will also uncover scene-driven keepsakes like the reindeer brawl and Santa mid-swear, turning the spot’s funniest moments into holiday décor. It’s a cheeky reminder that Buffalo Wild Wings offers more than free food perks – it delivers memorable rewards and unexpected delights for its most loyal fans.
