BWW Wants to Help Fans Get Out of Work to Watch U.S. Soccer

By Raj Prashad

Thousands of sports fans are stuck at work watching the WWC in secret. But games weren’t meant to be watched in hiding at your office or during frequent bathroom breaks. That’s why Buffalo Wild Wings created a presentation to get fans out of work.

“While this was created in a tongue-in-cheek way, we wanted it to be something that fans could actually give a presentation on,” said Micah Hart, Director of Social Media for Buffalo Wild Wings. “So the stats in here are real, and Buffalo Wild Wings really does want to help fans get out of work to watch these games.”

In the presentation, Buffalo Wild Wings lays out all the important statistics for why bosses should let their employees leave work to watch the U.S. women’s team play this summer. Key statistics include: employees will be happier and thus more productive, internet speed will be faster with fans not streaming games in the office, and Glassdoor reviews will see a spike based on flexible work hours.

The national team plays Thailand on Tuesday, June 11 at 3 p.m. ET, Chile on Sunday, June 16 at 12 p.m. E.T. and Sweden on Thursday, June 20 at 3 p.m. ET.
