Dunkin’ Opens First Locations in France

Whether it’s a stroll along the River Seine or a visit to the Arc de Triomphe, there’s no mistaking the iconic landmarks of Paris. And today, Paris added a new iconic location to its impressive lineup: France’s first Dunkin’.

On May 14, Dunkin’ celebrated the grand opening of its first location in France at 19 Boulevard Montmartre in Paris. Inspire and Dunkin’ France master franchisee QSRP celebrated Dunkin’s arrival with much fanfare and, of course, coffee.

“We are delighted to expand Dunkin’s European footprint with the opening of our first location in France,” says Inspire’s President and Managing Director of International Michael Haley. “Fueled by expert restaurant operator QSRP, we’re excited to make Dunkin’ beverages, donuts, baked goods, and sandwiches a daily staple for French guests.”

The arrival of Dunkin’ in Paris features the brand’s new “Recharge” design: a bright, colorful, and comfortable setting, with local touches to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The 2,152-square foot flagship is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and features brightly colored decor and ample seating as part of Dunkin’s “Recharge” design, offering guests the chance to dine in or take away. The Parisian menu includes hot or iced espresso-based drinks and coffee, a variety of teas, a range of “On Tap” beverages, baked goods featuring Dunkin’s iconic donuts, and exclusive French sandwiches prepared on-site.

“We are excited to introduce French consumers to the Dunkin’ experience,” says QSRP CEO Alessandro Preda. “In France, coffee and pastries are a true culture. Our ambition is to offer an accessible, delicious, and flexible experience, any time of day.”

Exclusive to France are the Love in Paris donut and French-themed donut box and coffee mug, available for purchase in Dunkin’ France locations.

A second Paris location is opening at 13 rue d’Amsterdam in the Saint-Lazare train station on May 15. The location will offer guests a gourmet break during their journey.

Dunkin’ is the leading coffee and donuts brand in the U.S., serving more than 2 billion cups of coffee across its more than 14,000 restaurants in 40 global markets, including France.
