Brady Bjonnes is an Above Restaurant Leader (ARL) for the Pragat Kupa network where he leads brand and franchisee standards for 12 Dunkin’s across southeastern Pennsylvania. But before he was a restaurant leader, he worked as a part-time team member at his hometown Dunkin’ in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
“I was in high school on the hunt for a fun, after-school job,” Brady recalls. “Dunkin’ seemed like the place to be, and my friends encouraged me to apply.” In 2018, Brady officially joined Dunkin’ and was promoted to Shift Leader two years later during his senior year. After graduation, he accepted a promotion to lead a different Dunkin’ as an Assistant Manager.
“Instead of night shift, I was put on the morning rush, experiencing everything there was to learn about getting the restaurant ready for a day of operation,” Brady says. “From problem-solving to communications skills, I was learning something new every minute of the day.”
Today, Brady utilizes his extensive restaurant knowledge to support a dozen Dunkin’s – including the Hanover Dunkin’ he joined all those years ago in high school. “When I first applied to Dunkin’, I was just looking for something that would fit my school schedule. I never could’ve imagined where that part-time job would take me.”
