In honor of National Mentoring Month this January, SONIC Drive-In is helping public school teachers this year by matching donations toward mentorship teacher projects on DonorsChoose, up to $70,000.

Serving as role models and mentors in-and-outside of the classroom, public school teachers have a powerful impact on students’ lives as they help shape their academic successes. For every donation made to mentorship projects, SONIC will amplify the contribution by matching $2 for every $1, to make a larger difference for teachers. The contribution between SONIC and donors will total to more than $100,000.

In addition to this donation match, SONIC offers exciting funding opportunities throughout the year. Through Limeades for Learning, SONIC has donated more than $17.9 million toward teacher projects to impact more than 5.6 million students and 26.5 thousand teachers since 2009.
