The Arby’s Foundation joined forces with multi-platinum band Smash Mouth and Atlanta-based artist Alex Guthrie to host its third-annual Dream Big Atlanta event on Tuesday, July 17. With over 700 people in attendance, the event helped to raise more than $400,000 to support childhood hunger, youth leadership and career readiness initiatives.
Alongside the night of entertainment and music, the Arby’s Foundation presented a $150,000 grant to Horizons Atlanta to support youth through summer learning opportunities, awarded the annual Dream Big Scholarship to Cristo Rey student Nala Bishop and surprised Alex Guthrie with a contribution to Enduring Hearts.
“Through our work with nonprofits like Horizons Atlanta, we are driving real change that is felt in Atlanta and beyond.” Stuart Brown, Executive Director, Arby’s Foundation
This fall, the Arby’s Foundation will continue supporting national nonprofit partners No Kid Hungry, Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters by collecting donations from guests.
