Food insecurity continues to be a real issue for children across the country. Arby’s School’s Out, Food’s In (SOFI) program is designed to support children who struggle to find meals during the summer when they no longer have access to free or reduced-price school lunches.

Each year before the last day of school, Arby’s partners with local school systems to provide students with a SOFI meal card, which provides up to 10* free Arby’s Kids Meals for each student during the summer. The card also provides a link to Food Finder which helps families find other food resources in their communities.

“We participate because we believe that this is a wonderful opportunity for us to help support kids and families that do not have good access to food,” explains Sean Cosper, President of Home Run Restaurant Group – Arby’s. “We believe it’s a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these families. We recognize that by supporting them with these meals, we are also creating an additional level of loyalty within the community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to serve.”

This summer, Arby’s will provide access to more than 300,000 meals for kids in need. To learn more about Arby’s Foundation and the SOFI program, visit foundation.arbys.com.
