Since launching the $7.99 Meat & 3 Box, Arby’s has been hard at work to find a way to bring the meats to more fans. The solution? Eight Arby’s-sponsored NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races, three racecar drivers, and multiple Meat & 3 Box pit stops along the way.
Shifting the tour into high gear is JR Motorsports (JRM), the professional racing team behind Arby’s racecars.
“It’s been a blast getting to work with everyone at Arby’s so far this year,” says JRM racecar driver Carson Kvapil. “Getting to experience everything from the Jimmy Eat World concert in Daytona, to the test kitchen last week with my teammates [Justin Allgaier, Sammy Smith, and Rajah Caruth], to working with Sophie [Cunningham]and her podcast. It’s just been an incredible start to this relationship.”
Here’s how Arby’s and JRM are pushing past the competition this season.
🏁 Florida Pit Stop: The Daytona 500
On the eve of NASCAR’s biggest race, Arby’s showed up with ‘Max-Horsey Power’ in Daytona. Building on the success of last summer’s Jamocha Shake tour, the brand hosted a surprise Jimmy Eat World pop-up concert inside a local Arby’s restaurant at Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach. The free concert transformed Arby’s into a rock n’ roll dance floor, complete with branded airbrushed hats and Meat & 3 Boxes to keep fans full.
🏁️ Georgia Pit Stop: EchoPark Speedway
Before JRM racecar driver Carson Kvapil debuted the newly-wrapped Arby’s No. 1 Chevrolet at Atlanta’s Motor Speedway on Saturday, February 21, he took it for a test drive to Arby’s headquarters at Inspire’s Atlanta Global Support Center.
Inspire team members enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at Arby’s No. 1 Chevrolet, took a tour of the JRM race team hauler, and even had a chance to score tickets to Saturday’s race. Meanwhile, JRM drivers Justin Allgaier, Rajah Caruth, and Sammy Smith visited Carson in Inspire’s test kitchen to sample offerings from across the brands – including, of course, Arby’s Meat & 3 Box.
In celebration of Black History Month, driver Rajah joined Inspire’s Black Voices business resource group (BRG) for an exclusive Q&A session. Rajah shared his journey from racing in an online simulation to becoming NASCAR’s Truck Series “Most Popular Driver,” and his current spot behind the wheel of JR Motorsports’ racecar No. 88.
