The Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) Foundation has a long-standing commitment to fueling champions of the next generation and has donated more than $30 million since its founding to provide more kids access to youth sports that positively impact their social, emotional, and physical development. In support of this mission, the Foundation recently joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation to unveil Dallas Independent School District’s (ISD) new soccer mini-pitch at David G. Burnet Elementary School. The mini-pitch is the first of its kind for Dallas ISD schools and includes a customized, hard-court surface suited for soccer programs and pick-up games that will serve as a community hub to encourage physical activity and new opportunities for play.

“Access to youth sports is a life-changing experience for many kids. They learn to win with grace, lose with poise, and compete with confidence,” says Inspire Brands Foundation Executive Director Stuart Brown. “The Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation fuels champions of the next generation by making sure that kids have access to the teams and fields they need for these important experiences.”

To celebrate, elementary school students and staff enjoyed BWW GO catering and performed the official “first kick” alongside BWW Foundation leadership.

This mini-pitch is just one way the BWW Foundation provides local communities with the resources they need so kids can thrive, including facility upgrades, uniforms, equipment, transportation, and coach training.
