At Inspire, elevating one another and the communities we serve as Good Citizens is one of our core behaviors. Team members across our business bring this spirit to life every day, including Buffalo Wild Wings Certified Training General Manager Priscilla Lamas.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Priscilla likes to say she grew her career “from the bottom up,” starting as a server in 2009 before plotting the course to become the general manager she is today. Throughout her career journey, one of Priscilla’s guiding principles has always been helping others.

“I was very blessed to have a father who showed me the importance of helping others. It’s the greatest gift,” she says. “He taught me that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

As a Good Citizens Ambassador at Inspire, Priscilla has been steadfast in her volunteer efforts to better her surrounding community. Part of that includes Inspire’s annual Good Citizens Month, when she partners with the local Boys & Girls Club of Uvalde to organize volunteer opportunities for Iocal team members and franchisees to come together and give back in nearby Uvalde, Texas.

“For me and my team, being a Good Citizen is all about making a difference, no matter how big or small it may be,” says Priscilla.

This year, Priscilla and her team volunteered to build a garden to educate and inspire local youth.

“We teamed up and used our shared knowledge to create the garden, which we hope will empower Boys & Girls Club kids to make positive lifestyle decisions,” she says. “We’re grateful to everyone who participated.”

This project comes on the heels of Priscilla’s group project for the Boys & Girls Club of Uvalde in 2023, when she led more than 60 volunteers to install stairs, fill potholes, mow lawns, remove debris, plant flowers, and build new soccer courts that immediately improved the outdoor play areas for Uvalde Boys & Girls Club kids.

These projects are standout moments in Priscilla’s career. “The impact our Buffalo Wild Wings team has made on the Uvalde Boys & Girls Club is phenomenal. I’m so deeply moved and proud of the collective impact we achieved together,” she shares. “These are my proudest moments — organizing so many people to donate their time to help impact our local community.”
