For general manager Gini Martin and the Buffalo Wild Wings team at sports bar #165 in South Elgin, Illinois, the chance to be part of local child Dani’s Make-a-Wish is something they’ll remember forever.

“There’s something special when someone says Buffalo Wild Wings is their favorite restaurant and you get to provide them a meal,” Martin said. “But in a situation like this, just playing a role in making this a special day for Dani and his family is everything to me.”

For Dani, his wish was made possible after the Elgin Fire Department led a procession of family and friends down his street before his wish was granted with an ATV, gifts for his sisters and a Buffalo Wild Wings meal for his entire family that included boneless and traditional wings, wraps, fries, onion rings, mac and cheese and a cheesecake for dessert.

“My staff was so excited and happy, they were running around trying to get everything ready for Dani’s family,” Martin said. “It was truly special to be included in someone’s day, and especially for us to be involved in something they’ll have a lifetime of memories from.”
