In honor of World Oceans Month in June, select Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars in the Atlanta area will carry Georgia Aquarium and Atlanta Brewing Company’s newest beer collaboration, Sea Lion Sour.
Proceeds from Sea Lion Sour, a tart ale that blends sea salt with raspberry and blueberry, will support marine life research and conservation through Georgia Aquarium. Buffalo Wild Wing guests will also have the option to round up to the nearest dollar on food or beverage purchases as an additional contribution toward Georgia Aquarium’s research and conservation fund.
“We are thrilled that Buffalo Wild Wings is first to market with the Sea Lion Sour,” said Jamie Carawan, VP of Brand Menu and Culinary for Buffalo Wild Wings.
“I am proud to serve a beer in our sports bars that not only tastes delicious, but also raises awareness for research and conservation efforts at Georgia Aquarium.” Jamie Carawan, VP of Brand Menu and Culinary, Buffalo Wild Wings
The collaboration with the two Atlanta-based organizations — the iconic Georgia Aquarium and Georgia’s oldest craft brewery, Atlanta Brewing Company — is the latest in Buffalo Wild Wings move toward partnering with more local breweries.
“We are excited and thankful to expand this cause marketing promotion at Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Hiroshi Okuda, Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Corporate Partnerships for Georgia Aquarium. “This was a great opportunity to build a partnership off our Atlanta connection and raise funds and awareness to support a worthwhile cause.”
Sea Lion Sour can be found exclusively at Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars in Atlanta and on draft at Atlanta Brewing Company before it hits select stores on June 27.
