Coconutmilk vs. Oatmilk vs. Almondmilk: What’s the Difference?

In case you missed it, Dunkin’ recently launched coconutmilk, which now joins oatmilk and almondmilk as delicious non-dairy choices at restaurants nationwide. With such a tasty trio of non-dairy options to choose from, you may be wondering the differences between them. Keep reading for a breakdown ahead of your next Dunkin’ run!

Coconutmilk

Coconutmilk is the most recent addition to the Dunkin’ menu, and is an especially refreshing non-dairy choice. The tropical, nutty flavors of coconutmilk beautifully complement Dunkin’ beverages with fruit-forward or roasted espresso notes, like the new Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers and Coconutmilk Iced Latte.

The new Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers combine coconutmilk, flavored fruit concentrate and B vitamins* for a moment of refresh any time of day. Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers come in three colorful varieties that look as good as they taste, including:

  • Pink Strawberry: Strawberry Dragonfruit flavors combined with coconutmilk.
  • Golden Peach: Peach Passion Fruit flavors combined with coconutmilk.
  • Purple Pomegranate: Blueberry Pomegranate flavors combined with coconutmilk.

If you weren’t already convinced to try coconutmilk at Dunkin’, the brand is also offering medium-sized Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers for the special price of $3 through May 25. DD Perks® members can also score 3X points (15 points per dollar rather than five) on the Coconutmilk Iced Latte from May 12 through May 25.

Oatmilk

Next up is oatmilk! Dunkin’ introduced oatmilk at Dunkin’ in August 2020, and it’s been a guest-favorite ever since. The creamiest of the brand’s non-dairy choices, oatmilk starts with oats and water, which are then blended with vitamins, minerals and other ingredients for a creamy texture and light sweetness. Imagine the rich, smooth, creaminess of milk, but without the dairy.

One deliciously cool way that guests can enjoy oatmilk at Dunkin’ is with the Oatmilk Iced Latte, which is made with rich, handcrafted espresso and creamy oatmilk for a tasty twist on our beloved lattes.

Almondmilk

Last but certainly not least, guests have loved customizing their favorite beverages with almondmilk since it first debuted at Dunkin’ in 2014. This classic non-dairy choice is rich and versatile and features hints of vanilla. If you’re looking for almondmilk inspiration, pick up a cup of Dunkin’ Midnight with a splash of almondmilk, an Almondmilk Iced Latte or a Vanilla Almondmilk Matcha Latte.
