This week, Inspire Brands announced organizational changes to enhance domestic development and franchise support. The changes are designed to provide greater focus and resources to Inspire franchisees by creating a dedicated franchise development organization.
Jason Maceda has been promoted to Chief Development Officer, leading all aspects of franchise development, including real estate and construction, architecture and design, and franchise recruitment. Maceda will report directly to Christian Charnaux, Chief Growth Officer, in his new role.
During his more than 25-year career with Dunkin’, Baskin-Robbins, and Inspire, Jason has held numerous leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Development. Before working on Development, Jason led Baskin-Robbins as Brand President, where he oversaw all aspects of its franchise system, growth, and brand management. Prior to Baskin-Robbins, Jason spent more than a decade at Dunkin’ in Finance, where he was responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis, among other roles, including Treasury Services and Corporate Real Estate.

In the new structure, roles that support company restaurant development will transition to the Inspire Company Restaurant team under John Kelly, President of Inspire Company Restaurants. This change will allow the franchise development teams to focus on providing Inspire’s franchisees the support they need to continue growing, remodeling, and innovating.
Given these changes, Don Crocker, Chief Development Officer, has announced that he’s resigning to take a step back, reset, and focus on his young family before deciding the next step in his career.
“Don has left an indelible mark on Inspire. I am grateful for his leadership and the five years of transformative growth he led,” said Charnaux.
