To celebrate the newly launched and vacation-inspired line of Mocktail Slushes, SONIC Drive-In is asking guests to join in this summer’s hottest challenge with the spiciest flavor of the trio. The Reaper Spicy Margarita, made with one of the world’s hottest chili peppers — the Carolina Reaper — in icy, Slush form, will put taste buds to the test and have some guests grasping for SONIC’s Real Ice Cream to cool down.

SONIC partnered with top YouTubers like ASMR star and cosplayer Gibi ASMR, video game streamer TBNR Frags, as well as slimer Nichole Jacklyne, to see if they can withstand the fire. Check out Gibi ASMR’s video “ASMR | Quiet & Chill Taking Personality Tests” to see if her heat tolerance held out or if the Reaper Spicy Margarita was too hot for her soothing whispers to handle.

Guests ready to face the heat can order the Reaper Spicy Margarita at their local SONIC and capture their reaction on social media using #ReaperChallenge.
