It’s no secret that job interviews can be a ‘make it or break it’ experience – for both the candidate and the company. In fact, more than 60% of job seekers are likely to reject a job offer due to a bad candidate experience.

At Inspire, our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team’s goal is to ensure every candidate has a consistently positive experience. It’s why they’ve been recognized as a Global Candidate Experience (CandE) Award winner for the third year in a row, with exemplary candidate experience ratings from job candidates themselves.

“Our entire team is committed to attracting and hiring game-changing talent, and that starts with the very first email or phone call,” says Sr. Director of Operations Talent Acquisition Brian Haukoos. “We strive to provide support every step of the way to ensure an industry-leading hiring experience for both the candidate and hiring manager.”

Interested in a job at Inspire and our brands? The TA Team shares how candidates continue to stand out from the crowd.

“I love it when someone shares how they feel about our brand behaviors and purpose,” says Lindsay Gruschow, an operations manager for TA. “Doing your research is one thing, but walking through what those behaviors mean to you and how you’ve embodied them in the past is a great way to show what you bring to Inspire.”

“I spoke to a candidate applying for a Restaurant Technology role who visited one of our restaurants before their interview,” says David Koppel, a TA advisor. “They were able to connect their guest experience to the impact they believed they could make in the role. Highlighting your connection to and understanding of our business goes a long way.”

“There are so many online resources you can visit to really understand the role you’re applying to – and Inspire as a whole,” says Deepti Mallela, a TA advisor. “The difference between a good interview and a great interview is just a few clicks away. I’ve had strong candidates who could confidently speak to our culture, community, and impact because they’d read several Inspire Stories on our digital newsroom.”
