Inspired by The Red Clay Strays’ tender and slow-crafted sound, Arby’s brings back BBQ smoked low and slow because great things take time
BBQ returns to Arby’s menu for a limited time, delivering bold, smokehouse flavors crafted for those who know great BBQ is worth the wait. The lineup features two fan-favorite BBQ Sandwiches, a quarter pound Pulled Pork Sandwich and Chopped Brisket Sandwich, featuring new brisket, alongside a new menu addition: the Mac Bowl.

Inspired by the same patience and craft that define great music, Arby’s is teaming up with The Red Clay Strays, a band straddling fiery Southern rock riffs, tender-hearted soul music, and tried-and-true country crooning. Set to perform this weekend at Stagecoach Festival, the partnership spotlights a shared belief that perfection takes time, whether it’s new music or delicious BBQ. The digital spot teases the band’s new single Demon in Your Choir that is set to release on Thursday, April 23.
Just like the Red Clay Strays take their time in the studio to get every note right for their new album, Arby’s BBQ is crafted low and slow to perfection. The brand’s pulled pork is hickory-smoked for four hours, and its chopped brisket is smoked for 13 hours, delivering the kind of depth, tenderness and authenticity BBQ fans crave.

Both of the BBQ Sandwiches feature a quarter pound of slow-smoked pulled pork or chopped brisket, topped with pickles on a toasted brioche bun and served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce. The new Mac Bowl delivers a hearty twist on comfort food, layering a quarter pound of smoked pulled pork or chopped brisket over creamy white cheddar mac and cheese, finished with crispy onions and your choice of BBQ sauce. The new brisket features a chopped mix of tender meat paired with caramelized, smoky bark, ensuring every bite is packed with flavor. The chopped technique allows for more evenly absorbed sauce, too.
“This is BBQ done right — smoked low and slow with no shortcuts so it comes out tender, juicy and full of flavor,” said Jeff Baker, Chief Marketing Officer at Arby’s. “I’m excited for fans of BBQ to try our new chopped brisket. It’s authentic BBQ brisket with a delicious bark that’s smoky and caramelized.”
To celebrate the return of BBQ, Arby’s is heading to the desert. The brand will be on-site at Stagecoach Festival in Palm Springs, California. At the Arby’s BBQ HQ, featuring the iconic Sunset Boulevard 40-foot Hat Sign, the brand will be serving BBQ sliders to fans across all three days of country music’s biggest weekend, giving festivalgoers a chance to experience the slow-smoked flavor firsthand.
Arby’s BBQ is now available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide. Guests can order in-restaurant, drive-thru, online or through the Arby’s app. For more information, visit www.arbys.com.
