Judy Padilla is passionate about people — she loves interacting with them, working with team members, and making others smile. She started out with that basic mindset when she left the Coast Guard and has maintained that same approach over the last 25 years at Arby’s.
“I love working at Arby’s, and I’m glad I’ve stayed here this whole time. You walk into another restaurant and see how they treat their customers. That’s not the way we do things here. We know our guests that come in every day and what they want,” Judy said.
“Every day we open these doors it’s a different day. If I can make one guest happy, or turn their day around, then I’ve done my job.”
Judy has spent her Arby’s career at the Indian River restaurant in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She started out as a team member, worked over the years to a Shift Manager position and eventually became an Associate Manager.
In recognition of her service to Arby’s, Area Supervisor John Jones recently surprised Judy with a gift, a plaque and a certificate of recognition from John Kelly, Chief Operating Officer of Arby’s, which proudly hangs in Judy’s restaurant.
