Arby’s, through its non-profit arm the Arby’s Foundation, is committed to fostering and supporting local partnerships through its grants program.
While the Foundation will donate more than $6 million in total by the end of the year, it is the $4.4 million in local grants that is the heart of Arby’s philanthropic strategy: to create long-term partnerships focused on making a difference.
Arby’s approach to local grants allows leadership from every Arby’s market to have a voice in identifying the best community organizations to partner with. That’s true for franchisees like PANDA, INC., where a grant from the Foundation will maintain their 20-year partnership with the Madonna School in Omaha, Nebraska, supporting efforts to serve students with cognitive and developmental disabilities. It also supports the Brumit Restaurant Group‘s work with youth programming in Asheville, North Carolina, as it has over the past 26 years in partnership with United Way of Asheville-Buncombe County.
“Special thanks to the Foundation for their help and support these many years.
Their support is the main reason we have been so successful.” Alan D’Agosto, franchisee, PANDA, INC
Grants from the Arby’s Foundation will also support new partnerships all over the country. These partnerships include organizations such as BestPrep in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which provides educational programs to students, and Feeding South Dakota, an organization fighting to eliminate hunger in the state.
In total, the Arby’s Foundation will fulfill more than 250 local grants, helping members of the Arby’s family champion real impact in the communities where they live and serve.
The Arby’s Foundation, the independent charitable arm of Arby’s, helps America’s kids dream big and pursue their dreams with confidence. Building on a philanthropic heritage that has contributed more than $90 million to youth-related causes since its inception in 1986, the Arby’s Foundation is committed to helping kids build, expand and pursue their dreams as we focus our efforts in childhood hunger, youth leadership and career readiness initiatives. The Arby’s Foundation is a division of the Inspire Brands Foundation, which is a registered 501(c)(3). For more information, visit https://foundation.arbys.com/
