Buffalo Wild Wings has selected Richmond, Virginia-based The Martin Agency as its creative agency of record following a review led by Joanne Davis Consulting.

“This is an exciting time for Buffalo Wild Wings as we continue to build momentum toward a relaunch of the brand next year. We met an array of supremely talented agency teams during our review and were very impressed by the passion, focus and caliber of creative thinking from all.

The Martin Agency demonstrated the best ability to think holistically in delivering creative ideas across traditional advertising and new media platforms that will help drive our business forward. The team truly understands the essence of our brand, shares our vision for the future and we’re thrilled to partner with them for our next chapter.” Seth Freeman, Chief Marketing Officer, Buffalo Wild Wings

The Martin Agency was founded in 1965 and was recently named one of the top 25 most influential agencies in the United States over the past five decades.

“We are fans and we treated this pitch like a sport from day one.

When you find a client with the ambition to create culturally impactful work who also happens to have a menu full of wings and beer, losing wasn’t an option.” Jerry Hoak, Executive Creative Director, Managing Director of The Martin Agency

The first campaign for Buffalo Wild Wings, which was acquired by Atlanta-based Inspire Brands in February, is expected to drop late in Q1 of 2019.
