Three Inspire Leaders Named to 2019 Power List

By Raj Prashad

Three members of the Inspire Brands family were named to the prestigious 2019 Power List, which is comprised of the 50 most influential people in foodservice today by Nation’s Restaurant News.

The annual list recognized Inspire Brands Chief Information Officer Darla Morse, SONIC Drive-In President Claudia San Pedro and Buffalo Wild Wings Franchisee Roz Mallet, as leaders who are setting the industry’s trends today and shaping them for tomorrow.

Darla Morse, Chief Information Officer, Inspire Brands

Darla was named the first CIO of Arby’s in 2016 and now oversees technology across the entire Inspire Brands enterprise. Darla and her team are laying the groundwork for what will become industry-leading capabilities in data and analytics, which will transform the way Inspire and its brands do business and will enhance the experience of our guests. Prior to Inspire, Darla was Chief Information Officer of SeaWorld, where she led the technology teams supporting SeaWorld’s corporate headquarters and 12 parks.

Claudia San Pedro, President, SONIC

Claudia has been a leader with SONIC for more than a dozen years, serving as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer before ultimately becoming the brand’s President. Today, she is only the third individual to lead SONIC during its 65-year history. Prior to joining SONIC, Claudia was the first female and the first Hispanic to serve as Director of Finance for the State of Oklahoma.

Roz Mallet, Franchisee, Buffalo Wild Wings

Roz is the President and CEO of PhaseNext, a Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee who operates restaurants in non-traditional locations, such as airports and military installations. She has served in a variety of leadership positions within the industry, including as a member of the board of directors of No Kid Hungry. In 2012, she became the first African-American woman to serve as chair of the National Restaurant Association.

Congratulations to Darla, Claudia and Roz on being named to the 2019 Power List.
