Every April is Good Citizens Month at Inspire Brands, when Inspire team members and franchisees volunteer through the Inspire Brands Foundation and Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to elevate the communities we serve. This year we celebrated our fourth annual Good Citizens Month with thousands of volunteers supporting hundreds of non-profits around the globe, resulting in more than 10,000 volunteer hours giving back to our communities.

“We’re humbled by all the ways our team member and franchisee volunteers showed up this year,” says Inspire Brands Chief Communications and Impact Officer Christopher Fuller. “Whether they were cleaning up trash in a local park or packing thousands of meals in a food bank, we thank every volunteer for the impact they made this month. We can’t wait to continue this momentum as we continue to give back throughout 2024.”

Established in 2020, this month-long initiative encourages team members and franchisees around the world to embody the best of being a Good Citizen, one of Inspire’s Core Behaviors that guides us to elevate each other and the communities we serve. To celebrate team members who went above and beyond, Inspire recognizes Good Citizens Award recipients each year.

Baskin-Robbins Communications Associate Manager Seamus Butler coordinated more than 14 volunteer projects at Inspire’s Boston Support Center, which supported more than 220 team member volunteers who served a total of 530 volunteer hours. Jimmy John’s Operating Services Manager Matt Dobbel coordinated six volunteer projects for his team and other Colorado-based franchisee team members, from food packing to sorting donated baby supplies.

Members of Inspire’s Quality Engineering Technology team – including Anthony Pasangna, Karthick Vethanayagam, Prachi Pallavika, Meenakshi Goyal, Manpreet Tuteja, and Vijay Teppala – were also recognized for their commitment to volunteer at least twice per week, serving 112 volunteer hours together throughout the month of April.
