LOOK: Arby’s Superfan Gets Beef ‘n Cheddar Tattoos

By Raj Prashad

From a young age, Michael Sweitzer loved Arby’s. He was a picky eater, and the only thing his mother could get him to consistently eat was the brand’s Classic Roast Beef sandwich. As he and his sister grew up, Arby’s was always there when they needed a moment to escape reality and remember the good times with protein-packed sandwiches.

Michael eventually fell in love with culinary, becoming a chef at a local eatery alongside his wife and daughter. He already had a handful of tattoos, but wanted to get something dedicated to his favorite foods. So he narrowed his options to sandwiches and went back to his roots with an ode to the Arby’s Beef ‘n Cheddar.

“I started looking for Beef ‘n Cheddar tattoo inspiration online and was thinking nothing probably existed. I had no idea how I was going to find a picture of a sandwich tattoo until I stumbled on the flash sheet from Miguel Montgomery. I couldn’t believe there were actual tattoos already drawn up,” Michael said.

So he printed off the flash sheet and brought it to a local tattoo shop in West Reading, Pennsylvania: Eternal Lotus Tattoo.

“I was there for probably six and a half hours while my tattoo artist, Megan, worked,” Michael said. “We did it all in one sitting, stencil to color, and I absolutely love it.”

With fresh ink and his favorite sandwiches on each of leg, there was only one way to celebrate.

“I left and immediately went to Arby’s to get a Beef ‘n Cheddar or two, and I’ve never been happier,” Michael said.
