Arby’s today announced the opening of its 1000th restaurant in the “Inspire” design — a major milestone in the brand’s quest to deliver exceptional service to its guests and enhanced value to its franchisees.
Greg Vojnovic, Chief Development Officer of Inspire Brands, joined multi-unit franchisee Guillermo Perales, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Holdings, to celebrate the restaurant opening just south of Houston. With 85 Arby’s restaurants, Guillermo is Arby’s second-largest franchisee and one of the biggest champions of the brand.
Arby’s introduced this innovative restaurant design in 2014, and it has served as an important element in the brand’s reinvigoration. The Inspire design’s upgraded guest experience is apparent from the moment guests enter the restaurant. New and remodeled restaurants feature wood tones, white brick, subway tiles, stainless steel finishes, chalkboard graphics and upgraded lighting and landscaping.
Many revitalized restaurants have seen significant benefits from these changes. On average, Arby’s restaurants with the new design have posted 10 percent higher average unit volumes and are 11 percent more energy efficient than its non-Inspire design restaurants.
“The Inspire design is the perfect representation of where the Arby’s brand is today.” Greg Vojnovic, Chief Development Officer, Inspire Brands
