Meet Sebastian, Baskin-Robbins’ Newest Pint-Sized Hero Who Inspires Positivity

Reporters are welcome to use Inspire Stories material. If you have any questions, please contact us at

At Baskin-Robbins, we’re passionate about happiness. That’s why we created the Baskin-Robbins Pint-Sized Heroes program to bring smiles to children who are receiving care at hospitals across the country and continue to inspire joy in their communities. Through the generosity of our franchisees, employees, and guests, the Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation is able to provide grants in honor of our Pint-Sized Heroes so that they continue to make an impact on other kids facing challenges in their communities.

This year, we’re recognizing a Pint-Sized Hero who inspires others to be their best self and stays positive despite the challenges he faces. Keep reading to learn more about our new Pint-Sized Hero, Sebastian.

Sebastian is a 14-year-old resident of Oak Hills, Calif., who was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta when he was an infant. Regardless of the broken bones and countless surgeries Sebastian has endured in his life, he has adopted a positive, inspiring, pay-it-forward attitude and strives to help other kids who may be facing similar challenges. He has made it a goal to give back, raise money, and organize toy drives benefiting the child life department at Shriners Children’s Southern California.

With the help of his family, Sebastian has organized several toy drives to benefit Shriners patients. He also founded “Born 4 Fast,” a charity event that brings local car communities together for a good cause. Through his efforts and social media presence, he has worked diligently to raise funds by organizing car rallies inviting all his car enthusiast friends to go on fun drives through Southern California.

With Sebastian’s radiating positivity and passion for his community, we’re honored to recognize him as a Pint-Sized Hero. To pay it forward, the Baskin-Robbins Joy in Childhood Foundation is granting $31,000 in his name to Shriners Children’s Southern California to use on child life programming. To show our gratitude to Sebastian, we’re treating him to a year of free ice cream, so he can celebrate every sweet moment with Baskin-Robbins!
