Pink Beer Hits Pennsylvania Buffalo Wild Wings For Breast Cancer Awareness

By Raj Prashad

In support of breast cancer awareness, Buffalo Wild Wings in Erie, Pennsylvania is participating in a month-long fundraiser, donating $1 to the American Cancer Society from every Yards Brewing Pynk beer sold through October 31.

Additionally, the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Erie will donate 15 percent of every menu item sold on October 30 to the American Cancer Society.

“Everyone in this town, I’m sure, has been affected in some way by this terrible disease.

I just want to do everything I can to help the community and eradicate this disease.” Kornel Miksa, Franchisee, Buffalo Wild Wings

The Pynk beer — named 2015 Philly Beer Scene Award winner for the Best Fruit Beer — is made with sweet and sour cherries and raspberries, resulting in a tart berry ale that is pink in color. Since 2013, Yards Brewing has donated a portion of Pynk sales to the Tyanna Foundation, an organization created to increase awareness and improve the lives of breast cancer patients.
