Buffalo Wild Wings, the nation’s largest pourer of draft beer, is debuting the new limited release Dos Equis Mexican Pale Ale on draught as part of the sports bar’s Brew Series, beginning on September 17.

Dos Equis created a brand new style of beer all together, blending traditional bitter Styrian hops, citrus Lemondrop hops and caramel malts, which provide balance to the slight hot pepper finish.

“When we think Pale Ale, we think IPA. But Dos Equis is taking the Pale Ale brewing process and adding a Mexican twist,” said Lindsay Certilman, Brand Manager of Dos Equis. “Sports bars provide a national platform for craft beer consumption and thus offers us a perfect opportunity to engage with craft drinkers and Mexican Import enthusiasts.”

The Buffalo Wild Wings Beverage team traveled to Monterrey, Mexico, to visit the Dos Equis brewery, where they worked with their Brew Masters to develop the perfect flavor profile that incorporated Mexican flavors and a fun twist on the traditional Mexican beer.

As part of the Brew Series, the new Dos Equis Mexican Pale Ale will run through early November.

This new beverage partnership with Dos Equis adds to the already impressive rotation of craft, domestic, and international brews on tap at more than 1,200 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants. Later this month, Buffalo Wild Wings is creating a 3,600-square foot fan experience and sports bar at the Great American Beer Festival, the premier beer festival and competition in the U.S.
